LETTER FROM BARRY POLARD:
To all my friends at the EEO,
I had planned on being at the match this year, maybe as a shooter, but probably just a spectator. As most of you may know medical problems have interfered with my life for the last 6 months.
First I would like to thank the Hell Squad and all the people who have generously contributed to my medical expences. The costs are running at about £12.5K and donations/loans are at £10.8K, so there is a shortfall. I have kept a record of who has subscribed what amount and when I sell my house in England, I will pay everyone back. The thing is; I still have 2 legs to walk on, it could have been worse, I may not have made it out of the hospital at all! A morbid thought, but in the Philippines, without money for drugs and treatment, you die.
I hope the weather is smiling an you all and the beer is cold!
